At one of our millions of trips to Target, I happened upon this cute little make-your-own birdhouse kit. Better yet, it was on 75% off clearance. My very first thought was, "WHO would pay $20 for this???" My second thought was, "That'd be a fun activity for Luke to do!"

So after lunch, we laid down a couple of kitchen towels and went at it. Luke loved doing the screwdriver... for the first two screws. So I ended up as the carpenter. Luke was the painter. Once it was dry, Joel helped Luke hammer a nail into the garden fence. We're hoping some birds notice and make themselves at home really soon!
